Cybersecurity and AI SIEM

Fluency does not enter an AI SIEM shortlist through brand recognition. It enters through a different buying argument: public entry pricing, one year of retention in every package, evidence attached to behavioral cases, and AI clients limited to permission-aware functions instead of arbitrary platform access. Those are useful differences, but each one still needs to survive a proof test with the buyer's own data.

What to Know Before This Conversation

  • Fluency publishes its pricing structure: SMB starts at a $75 monthly minimum, while Core and Business add user minimums, different data allowances, and additional data-source support. Confirm the live quote and every meter before treating the calculator as total cost.
  • The headless SIEM claim means the same structured security work can appear through the user interface, APIs, reports, dashboards, and approved AI clients. Ask for one investigation to be run through more than one interface and compare the evidence.
  • Fluency says AI clients receive bounded functions, explicit scope, evidence records, and separate read, local, and write tiers rather than arbitrary database or API access. A serious evaluation should test both an allowed action and a denied one.
  • Syslog and HEC feeds are listed in the Business package, not the entry package. Buyers with infrastructure, network, IBM i, or mixed legacy telemetry should verify data-source fit before comparing headline seat prices.
