HPE Alletra Storage

HPE Alletra covers more than one storage job. Block, file and object needs should be separated before a reseller proposes an array, because capacity numbers alone do not tell you whether the design fits the application or recovery plan.

Use this page to

match the right Alletra architecture to the workload, performance and recovery requirement before you request final pricing.

What You Need to Sort First

  • Begin with block, file or object access, then document usable capacity, latency, throughput and growth.
  • Snapshots, replication, ransomware recovery and backup integration belong in the first design, not a later add-on.
  • Ask for usable capacity and every data-reduction assumption. Raw capacity does not make two quotes comparable.
  • Make migration, cutover, rollback and acceptance testing named work in the proposal.

This Page Helps You With...

  • Primary block storage
  • File and object data
  • Private cloud storage
  • Database performance
  • Backup and recovery
  • AI data pipelines

What You Need to Know

  • Which Alletra family matches the access method?
  • How much usable capacity is included?
  • How will data move and recover?
