Nutanix's product for running the Nutanix Cloud Platform natively inside public cloud regions, including AWS GovCloud and the AWS European Sovereign Cloud.
Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) extends the same Nutanix Cloud Platform buyers run on-premises into public cloud regions, currently including AWS and Azure, with expanding support for AWS GovCloud and the AWS European Sovereign Cloud region. That reach into regulated and sovereign-data cloud regions is one of Nutanix's clearest differentiators against HPE's private-cloud approach, which doesn't currently match it. NC2 only matters to a buyer who has an actual hybrid or multi-region cloud requirement, not to a buyer evaluating Nutanix purely as an on-premises HCI replacement.
