HPE GreenLake is HPE's platform for consuming infrastructure as a service rather than a traditional capital purchase, extending to compute, storage, private cloud, and now unified virtual machine and Kubernetes management under one console. It is the operational backbone behind HPE's Private Cloud and Private Cloud AI offerings, and its pitch is continuity: buyers running both virtualized and containerized workloads can manage both without standing up a separate operational silo. GreenLake competes directly with Dell APEX and Lenovo TruScale as the three major enterprise as-a-service consumption models.
